But more importantly, wanted to see how much further your health issues would have improved. Since leaving DYAO I sure hope you've kept up with healthy eating and exercise, Brandon, because believe it or not I sure worried about you and was rooting for you all the way. Maintain what you learned on the show and it won't be long before the "girl" issue works itself out. You are without a doubt a very handsome young man, and from some of the comments on this blog, it already looks like the girls are getting in line. It was a pleasure to watch you flourish even if it was for just a few short weeks. Also, don't worry about the insensitive comments made about your crying. Guess some of these hard core "machos" can't fathom what it's like to be losing a support group (such as doctors, trainers, nutritionists, etc.) who were teaching you a "lifestyle" that could, in essence, save your very life due to health issues; or leaving a close network of "friendships" that it appeared you made with the other contestants in a short period; or leaving a gorgeous dance partner; or any 1 of a million other reasons. Remember that getting teary-eyed isn't just a "female" thing but rather it's an "emotional" outpouring whereby people can express their sadness (or happiness); so if that's what you feel like doing for whatever reason, then just do it and to heck with what other people think or say. Brandon.. I didnt start watching the show right at the beginning but I did start watching before you left. I was so inspired by you that I have taken it upon myself to start the journey to losing weight. I was moved by your motivation and seeing you succeed so much was absolutely amazing. I am a mother of 3 children and I have a hard time keeping up. It was because of my unknown thyroid problem I have gained 150 pounds.. That put me over 300 pounds. Since getting on my medicine to help balance it out I have been struggling to lose it. After my last baby I have always felt like I havent had the time to do anything for myself. Then I realized that I am not just doing me the favor I am doing my family the favor too. If I lose the weight and be healthy I will a longer happier life. I am only 21 years old and have a lot to look forward to and I dont want any of it to end early because of me being selfish and lazy. Watching this show has made me realize that there are many others out there struggling with my same problem.. You did an awesome job out on the dance floor, and with your weight loss. Congrats and keep it up
