Latin week!!! Lots of hips swinging and core action! This week, our primary focus was core training. I always try to incorporate core training into all of the workouts as it is the center of our bodies and everything works around the center. It is important to have a strong core to keep the rest of your body strong. It also helps eliminate a lot of injuries if your core is strong.

Some of the exercises we did were mountain climbers, woodchops, and core rotations in addition to getting the cast up to running on the treadmill. They are starting to get their bodies in shape and it's time to start pushing the speed up on the treadmill. When you are on the treadmill, you should work on getting up to a running speed, and please, if you are walking, NO HOLDING ON!!! As soon as you hold on, it takes out the stability and core work you are doing.

We also worked on pushing and pulling in an unstable environment, ie. doing a one-armed row on one foot. This is a great way to challenge your internal stabilization.

From the time I was 23 yrs old, I have been fit. I boxed for 4 yrs, wrestled for 9 yrs, danced for 10 yrs, and 2 yrs of gymnastics. I have had several knees injuries and now have severe osteoarthritis and can hardly move. I am 30 lbs overweight and disgusted! Any suggestions on what kind of exercises I can do to get this weight off?? Especially my belly and legs.

I am an apple shape and work a high stressful job and work midnight till 10a.m. Any suggestions on losing my stomache? I gained my weight after doctor put me on steroids. I have a potassium deficiency and have never weighed this much before in my life. I'm 5'7 and weight 198 lbs. Please, any advice will be greatly appreciated.
