Marissa
I was inspired to do the same.

Welcome to my blog! I am so excited about the new show. I have to admit "Dance Your Ass Off" impacted not just the contestants' lives, but mine as well!

I am so blessed to have a wonderful 11-month-old son, Zev, but like every new mom the stress and sleepless nights make it impossible to think about yourself, work out, or eat well. I literally spent the 3 months before Zev was born (and after "Dancing with the Stars") having an affair with Doritos and red velvet cupcakes....HELLO!!!! Then after Zev was born, the affair turned into a relationship with late-night eating and I had a bad, bad break-up with dancing! So, I'm sad to say I put on 25 pounds. But honestly, it wasn't until I was working on "Dance Your Ass Off" that I even thought about it. I can say the show "woke my ass up" and now I am back on track. THANK YOU DYAO.

I lost more weight there than I had in years of trying! What was there to be sad about?

I won't say it was always fun but the pain, sweat, tears and joy made ever minute worthwhile.

I've loved every minute of this, and now I have something back that I thought I had lost.

I thought Nicki Blonsky played in hair spray??? I have never heard of this host/actress, what has she ever been on?....and I agree they should keep all of these dancers on until they lose the weight,,,then start the judgement right???? Like make it a 3 month show,,,then lets start the judging!!!!!!!

I love the show but Marissa needs to pull her hair back-tame that beast and put on some color in her make up-she is so pretty but she looks washed out...why would the make-up people want to do that to her! Jelly jell bugs!
