Hey Dancing Queens!
All good things must end, right? This week was the exciting finale of Dance Your Ass Off, and it was also my last Dance Your Ass Off class at Crunch. What a great couple of months! As far as class, I’m happy to say that I felt myself getting better and stronger each week, and that was very encouraging. As far as the show, three cheers for Ruben! All three finalists did such a great job, didn’t they? And I loved when all the contestants danced together. They were all such inspirations. Watch the reunion show next week, guys. I have a feeling there will be some surprises!

So we had one last class, full of the best of Dance Your Ass Off. Carol brought in a guest instructor, Mark, to teach us a hip hop routine. We did a little country dancing, in honor of Ruben, a brief samba combination, in honor of Pinky, and then we cooled down to the song that Shayla used for her lyrical dance. It was a nice mix of styles for our last class, and it was a fun way to incorporate what actually happened during the finale. I can’t believe we’re not going back next week.

Big thanks to our instructor Carol, all our guest dance genre experts, and all the Dance Your Ass Off class instructors across the country for bringing the show to life each week. I hope everyone had just as much fun as the Tuesday night West 38th St class did.
