Our Dance Your A** Off cast comments on celebrities who have been in some of the most popular dance movies of our time. Adamme loved John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever. He says, ‘John Travolta is iconic. Until this day we still do the unforgettable move ‘disco point fingers’ on the dance floor!’
Catherine Zeta Jones sang and danced her heart out in Chicago. Briana says ‘She really strutted her stuff in Chicago. The movie was full of drama, dance and comedy.’
Couple Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan tore up the dance floor in Step Up. Briana says, ‘Channing Tatum is one of the sexiest male dancers alive! He and Jenna Dewan were amazing in Step Up. It is the best dance movie of the decade!’
Jennifer Beals showed us her moves in Flashdance. Erica says, ‘Jennifer Beals was fantastic in this movie. Flashdance is hands down one of my favorite dance movies of all time!! I watched this movie when I was young and it contributed to me wanting to be a dancer.’
Jennifer Grey’s performance in Dirty Dancing was iconic. Briana says, ‘I loved the finale number between Jennifer and Patrick Swayze. The dancing was so free, and overall this was a very enjoyable film!’
Jennifer Lopez was a natural in Shall We Dance. Erica says, ‘Jennifer Lopez is one of my favorite singer/actress/dancers. Seeing her go from being one of the ‘Fly Girls’ in In Living Color, to looking so beautiful in Shall We Dance was wonderful!!’
Jessica Alba tore up the dance floor in Honey. Erica says, ‘I loved Jessica Alba in Honey; I never knew that she could move like that. Being that hip-hop is one of my favorite styles, I absolutely loved her in this movie.’
Who could forget Julia Stiles performance in Save the Last Dance? Adamme thinks it’s ‘fantastic to put the ballerina with hip-hop edge on the dance map!’
Kevin Bacon rocked the dance floor in Footloose. Adamme says, ‘He’s a leading 80’s star who shows us that shakin’ a footloose is in us all. We all have the ability to let go and get loose. He’s inspiring!’
Patrick Swayze gave an iconic performance in Dirty Dancing. Stephanie says, ‘Patrick Swayze will forever be my dream dance partner. He was so handsome and manly while being so elegant and beautiful when he danced. Patrick was so sexy and confident, epitomizing great, entertaining and hot dancing!’
Renée Zellweger sang and danced her heart out in Chicago. Stephanie says, ‘I absolutely love Renée in this movie. She was powerful and confident, which is really sexy and fun to watch. She was a great leading lady.’
Richard Gere sure looked classy in Shall We Dance. Kiki says, ‘Richard Gere is absolutely hot. When he’s dancing he’s every woman’s fantasy! He could step on my feet anytime!
Zoe Saldana showed us what she’s got in Center Stage. Kiki says, ‘She makes me sick!!! She is gorgeous, has a great body, and she dances effortlessly! Center Stage is definitely one of my favorites from her!’
